Centru modern pentru testarea calitatii carburantilor la Petrobrazi

 

OMV Petrom, cel mai mare producator de titei si gaze din sud-estul Europei, a anuntat pe data de 14 iunie inaugurarea unui centru modern de analize pentru controlul calitatii carburantilor la rafinaria Petrobrazi.
Modernizarea centrului de analize amplasat la intrarea in rafinaria Petrobrazi a necesitat investitii de aproximativ 5 milioane de euro, inclusiv pentru relocarea echipamentelor de laborator din cladirea veche.
Noul centru de analize dispune de trei laboratoare pentru produse petroliere, la care se adauga un laborator de ape-mediu. In cadrul centrului de analize de la rafinaria Petrobrazi, se testeaza in permanenta cei mai importanti parametri de calitate ai carburantilor.
„Benzina si motorina reprezinta de fapt amestecuri formate din sute de tipuri de hidrocarburi si zeci de alti compusi, dupa retete precise. Din fericire, Romania nu are o problema cu calitatea carburantilor, iar fiecare client care trece pragul statiilor OMV sau Petrom stie ca se poate baza pe carburantii nostri. Insa, pentru a ajunge la acest nivel de calitate, in spate este multa munca, sunt investitii de miliarde de euro si laboratoare, ca acesta, in care se fac mii de analize pentru a verifica produsele care ies din rafinarie”, a declarat Neil Anthony Morgan, membru al Directoratului OMV Petrom, responsabil pentru activitatea Downstream Oil.
Cei mai importanti parametri de calitate ai carburantilor sunt verificati in cadrul laboratoarelor; cum ar fi cifra octanica in cazul benzinei, respectiv cifra cetanica in cazul motorinei. Acesti parametri sunt cei care indica puterea pe care o transmit respectivii carburanti motorului. Pentru testarea puterii carburantilor se folosesc analizele Research ale cifrei octanice, care se bazeaza pe evaluarea parametrilor de detonare a benzinei fata de o substanta etalon. De asemenea, in cadrul centrului se efectueaza si teste ale cifrei octanice tip motor, care testeaza benzina in conditii mai apropiate de cele din realitate.
Alte teste de calitate a carburantilor efectuate in cadrul laboratoarelor vizeaza verificarea continutului de apa, continutului de sulf si alte metale, gume, sau temperatura de filtrabilitate a motorinei - care arata temperaturile minime pana la care motoarele diesel vor functiona fara nici o problema.
Circa 150.000 de teste de laborator se efectueaza anual in centrul de analize de la Petrobrazi.
Dupa privatizare (2005-2016), investitiile la rafinaria Petrobrazi au insumat 1,2 miliarde euro, din care circa 600 milioane euro au fost investiti pentru programul de modernizare care s-a desfasurat in perioada 2010-2014.
Cu o capacitate de rafinare de 4,5 mil. tone anual, Petrobrazi poate procesa intreaga productie de titei a OMV Petrom din Romania. Rafinaria Petrobrazi are in prezent un Indice Nelson de 11,5, cel mai mare din regiune, fiind capabila sa proceseze o gama variata de titei.
OMV Petrom este cel mai mare grup petrolier integrat din Europa de Sud-Est, cu o productie anuala de titei si gaze de aproximativ 64 milioane bep in 2016. Grupul are o capacitate de rafinare de 4,5 milioane tone anual si opereaza o centrala electrica de inalta eficienta de 860 MW si un parc eolian de 45 MW. Pe piata distributiei de produse petroliere, OMV Petrom este prezent pe pietele din Romania si tarile invecinate prin intermediul a 783 benzinarii, la sfarsitul lui 2016, sub doua branduri, OMV si Petrom.
OMV, una dintre cele mai mari companii industriale listate din Austria, detine 51,01% din actiunile OMV Petrom. Statul roman, prin Ministerul Energiei, detine 20,64% din actiunile OMV Petrom, Fondul Proprietatea detine 12,57%, iar 15,79% se tranzactioneaza liber la Bursa de Valori Bucuresti si la Bursa de Valori Londra.
