Rompetrol Well Services, halved profit

Rompetrol Well Services, KMG International’s division for well services, has reported a profit of RON 13.8 million in 2014, twice lower than the previous year, when the company results amounted to RON 27.5 million, preliminary financial results released by the company reveal. Rompetrol Well Services estimated a net profit of RON 12.6 million for last year, the lowest in the past eight years. The company’s net turnover in 2014 was of RON 88 million, down against 2013, when it amounted to RON 111 million. Rompetrol Well Services is the division for well services of KMG International, former Rompetrol company, operating under the control of the Kazakh state company KazMunayGas.

KMG International owns in Romania the refineries Petromidia and Vega and operates 746 gas stations. The company also operates in France, Spain, Republic of Moldova, Georgia and Bulgaria.
