Transgaz expects the net profit to fall

The national natural gas transmission company Transgaz expects the net profit to fall by 27% this year as compared to the historic result registered 2014, due to higher operating costs. The company has budgeted for this year total expenditures of RON 1.25 billion and envisages revenues of RON 1.69 billion, estimating that it will conclude the year with a net profit of RON 371 million, the budget approved by the majority shareholder, the Ministry of Economy and published in the Official Gazette reads. In the company’s vision, while revenues will remain nearly unchanged against 2014, the operational expenditures would increase by 17% over the figures last year, mainly due to the 21% higher costs of goods and services.
