OMV Petrom, minimal oil output increase in Q1 2015


OMV Petrom registered a 1 percent increase in oil output in the first quarter of this year, as compared to the same period last year, to 184,000 boe per day, an OMV release informs. The volume of hydrocarbons’ output stood at 182,000 boe per day in the first three months of last year. At OMV group’s level, the hydrocarbon output decreased from 311,000 boe per day to 303,000 boe per day during the analyzed period.

In January-March 2015 OMV had a hydrocarbon output of 303,000 boe per day, as compared to 318,000 boe per day in Q4 2014 and 311,000 boe per day in the same period last year. OMV has announced that the refining margin, profitability index, was USD 7.53 per barrel during January-March 2015 as compared to USD 5.94 per barrel in the Q4 2014 and USD 4.17 per barrel in Q1 2014.
